So, these are the replacements for the old GHS Tremolo Boomers that had the extra reinforcement at the ball end to protect them from breaking there when using Kahler tremolos? I just purchased 5 of these and they look like just normal strings without the reinforcement. Is there a new special steel being used that replaces the Tremolo Boomer extra reinforcement/wrapping?
