GHS Strings is proud to welcome Glory Days to its family of endorsed artists officially. The Chicago-based pop-punk quartet has been playing GHS onstage and in the studio for years, and the partnership now becomes official as the band continues its rapid rise in the alternative scene.
Formed in 2016 by four friends from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Glory Days was born out of a shared love for the nostalgic energy of early 2000s pop punk. With James Pickering (vocals/guitar), Vince Gannon (vocals/bass), CJ Jarmuth (guitar), and Jared Tousey (drums) completing the lineup in 2017, the band quickly became known for their high-energy performances and genuine relatability both onstage and off.
Drawing inspiration from The Starting Line, Yellowcard, The Flatliners, and Green Day, Glory Days writes with a clear purpose: to explore the challenges of growing up, mental health, and personal growth through emotionally charged vocals and punchy, melodic guitar work. Their debut EP, “The Roads We’ve Traveled,” recorded by acclaimed producer Seth Henderson (State Champs, Broadside, Sleep On It, Knuckle Puck), introduced them as thoughtful storytellers capable of pairing emotional weight with classic pop-punk hooks. Tracks like “Bottom Left” and “Divided” showcase the band’s ability to connect deeply with listeners through honesty and melodic intensity.
Their latest release, “Because Friends Are All We Have,” blends the familiarity of the Warped Tour era with modern pop-rock sensibilities—an anthemic collection of songs built for both bedrooms and arenas. Throughout every stage of their evolution, Glory Days remains committed to one mission: to evoke a genuine emotional response in you.
Glory Days performs using GHS Boomers electric guitar sets (Light 10-46 and Medium 11-50) and Bass Boomers Heavy 50-115—strings known for their durability, punch, and clarity, and trusted by generations of rock players.
