Salima Shamanov Joins the GHS Strings Artist Roster

GHS Strings is proud to welcome Salima Shamanov to the official GHS Artist roster. Salima is the banjo player for The Alaskan Sunnyside Sisters, a rising young family bluegrass band from Alaska. Their energetic performances and tight musicianship have helped them build a passionate fan base across social media and the festival circuit.

Known for her precise picking and lively stage presence, Salima performs on a Tony Trischka Silver Clipper Banjo. She strings it with the GHS JD Crowe Studio Set, delivering the tone and tension she needs for fast rolls, crisp attack, and clean articulation in both live settings and studio recordings.
