Willow Osborne picked up her first banjo at the age of four and was taught by her friend & mentor, Gary "Biscuit" Davis, the only 4-time International Banjo Champion. She is blessed to be endorsed by Deering banjos and plays her Sierra, Calico and Phoenix 6-string with pride. Willow is also proudly endorsed by Neat banjos with her own custom-made gold banjo, GHS Strings and BlueChip Picks.
Dollywood Theme Parks gave Willow her first stage experience with lead rolls in their musical productions "Babes in Toyland", "Sha-Kon-O-Hey", and "Twas the night before Christmas". She has been honored to be asked back yearly to be part of Dollywood’s ”Bluegrass and Barbeque Festival."
Willow has also held the title "International Miss" in the prestigious International Cinderella Scholarship Program as well as being the Tennessee state title holder for the Tot and Mini-Miss divisions.
Willow has appeared on "Woodsongs" with Rhonda Vincent and The Rage, The United States Navy Bluegrass Band and Pat Flynn. She was interviewed and had the honor of playing with Banjo legend Jens Kruger in the TV documentary about his life.
Willow's stage presence, vocal, and instrumental skills gave her the rare opportunity to be a featured performer at the Country Tonite Theatre in Pigeon Forge for 9 years.
Willow was cast in the MacGillivary Freeman IMAX Film "America's Musical Journey". The movie premiered February 15th, 2018 at the Smithsonian. She was able to entertain guests for the premiering film all the way from the Smithsonian to Seattle as well as in her home state, Tennessee. She was given the amazing opportunity to record at the BlackBird Studio in Nashville for the film’s soundtrack.
In 2020, she was fortunate to be able to travel out west to Medora, North Dakota where she was a Burning Hills Singer (and banjoist) in the Medora Musical.
Willow's YouTube channel currently has over 17,000,000 views. She feels ecstatic to have so many wonderful people to share music with around the world.
