SETS - BASS PRECISION FLATS™

Long revered as the "Sound of Chocolate," Precision Flats™ sound and feel like rock and roll history! Stainless steel ribbon wire is wound over a hex core, and polished to a velvety smooth finish. This makes a string that is deep and percussive, with a bit of throat on the attack. The top end is pulled back too, with a smoothness to the notes as you climb the fretboard. You'll sit in the mix with a deep authority, ready to anchor the band all night.
Why Should You Play Precision Flats?
- You want to sit low in the mix, and anchor the groove
- You know there's magic with a Fender P-Bass and flats!
- You want that authentic vintage sound and feel

I have two American Deluxe Fender Jazz Bass V five-string basses set up alike.
As you can see from the photos, the standard length of the fifth (low-B) string is too short and the purple wrap reaches through the nut.
- You all had previously issued a longer fifth string.
- That is what I'll need to complete the order.
I've been using Flats forever on my Fender 1962 P-Bass in studio work, live concerts and club stage gigs but wanting a smoother feel with some extra pop, punch and a bit brighter. After a lot of consideration and conversations, (I choose the M3050 set). I'm anxious to get them on and enjoy the smooth sound I'm comfortable playing with.
I love the way these sound and feel on a Fender P with/without a pick. Sounds classic even with the mids cranked.

These strings are so friggin' good they should come with a warning label. The lows are perfect, my StingRay turned into a Disco era Concrete Mixer! Thank you GHS
