Nicolas Alberny started to play guitar as an autodidact when he was 13, then took his first lessons two years later. Being a hard worker he was graduated from Nancy’s Music Academy International in 2009.

Nicolas actually started to play guitar when he discovered Yngwie Malmsteen, but his first influences remain Queen (Brian May still being his favorite guitarist), Jimi Hendrix, Richie Blackmore, Mark Knopfler and Eric Clapton.

His first active band was Arcania (Thrash Metal) who released the album “Sweet Angel Dust” in 2010. He was then asked to join Gorod the same year, thus starting his international career. Since 2011, Nicolas has been touring worldwide and started to offer his services as a live session and studio guitarist in many french bands: Antropofago (Brutal Death), Kronos (Death Metal), T.A.N.K. (Metal/Core)… He also also performed several guest solos for Vale of Pnath (USA) and many more.

Nicolas has been an independent guitar teacher in Bordeaux and also online since 2009.
