With a style all their own, Mountain Highway is a musical family trio that loves to play traditional bluegrass, country, and gospel music originally made famous by icons like Bill Monroe, the Carter Family, Flatt & Scruggs, and Ralph Stanley. Two talented sisters trade off playing acoustic instruments as they sing duet harmony, while their dad plays an electric upright bass.
Performing most often in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the Mountain Highway trio previously traveled for six years with a third and fourth sibling to play at many popular venues from New York to Texas. A few notable bookings have been Camp Springs Bluegrass Festival (NC), Dollywood Harvest Festival (TN), Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver Festival (NC), Jerusalem Ridge Bluegrass Celebration (KY), and the Wind Gap Bluegrass Festival (PA).
Mountain Highway’s endorsements include: Deering Banjos, GHS Strings, and Shubb Capos.
