Jennifer Foster and Robert Parker Jr. are an Austin based bass, guitar and vocal duo. Robert's blues style and Jennifer's folk/soul background mesh together in an ode to stellar music through the ages. Playing everything from Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Savoy Brown to Janis Joplin, Heart and Carole King, their strong and dynamic vocals add to a chemistry and style all their own. Tight harmonies, soulful licks and a strong groove are a perfect match to their magnetic energy onstage. They've worked with artists like Jennifer Nettles (Sugarland), Larry Gatlin, Kristen Bell, and have performed at venues like The Hollywood Bowl, Downtown Disney, The Los Angeles Theatre, and hundreds of venues in and around Austin.

Jennifer Foster Bio
Jennifer began working with orchestras around 11 years old while working in live theatre. From there, she was inspired to write, compose and arrange. Jennifer has performed alongside Jennifer Nettles, Kristen Bell, Larry Gatlin and more on stages like The Hollywood Bowl, The Los Angeles Theatre, and on Broadway in New York City. She has two albums out, the second recorded completely live at The Village Studios in Los Angeles, CA. Jennifer picked up the bass in May 2021.

Robert Parker Jr. Bio
Robert picked up the guitar in 2013 and the rest is history. Raised by rock enthusiasts as well as being accompanied by his triple-threat older sister, Robert was surrounded by music his entire life. Heavily influenced by the blues, Robert bridges the gap between blues, rock, r&b, and psychedelic jam bands alike.

The blues, funk, soul and rock inspired SHADOW BAND hails from Austin, Texas with Robert Parker Jr. on guitar/vocals, Jennifer Foster on bass/vocals and Anthony Corsaro on drums. Robert began as a blues inspired self-taught guitarist from Southern California, gigging up and down the coast. Jennifer picked up the bass one year ago. She moonlights as an actress and vocal arranger with original albums, Broadway shows, films, commercials, and TV shows under her belt. Anthony started in bands, drumlines, churches; studied at University of North Texas and continues to push his creative boundaries in areas like engineering, producing live podcasts, mixing/recording and beyond. The trio met in the summer of 2021 at Mozart's Coffee in Austin and the rest is history. With collective inspirations like The Meters, Bonnie Raitt, Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, this trio has played at hundreds of venues in and around Austin.
