Hailing from the tropics of the Sunshine State, Scott Vallina is an artist that is impossible to quickly or easily summarize and can be compared to none. His guitar playing skills are only matched by his on-stage theatrical antics which nightly includes various gear smashing, rafter climbing and near neck breaking bouts of head banging.
His artist resume includes writing, recording, and touring with artists as diverse as Phoenix Mourning (Metal Blade Records), The Glitter Guns (Fiberline Audio Records), Not Tonight Josephine, Mr. Bella and currently A Light Divided. Through-out those stints over the years, he has logged countless tours across every state in the US in addition to working with producers such as Andrew Wade (A Day to Remember), James Paul Wisner (Paramore), Taylor Larson (Asking Alexandria), Kile Odell (Motionless in White), and Brett Hestla (Framing Hanley). His band, A Light Divided’s latest release “Radio Silence” debuted at #55 on Billboard’s Top Singles Chart in 2020.
Never satisfied or settled, Scott Vallina additionally works in the business on the data side of the industry where he previously handled Billboard Charts for Soundscan/MRC/Luminate and currently handles data and reporting for Universal Music Group Nashville.
His current list of endorsements includes industry name staples such as Mesa Boogie, GHS, In-Earz Audio, InTune Guitar Picks and Acathla Clothing.
He is described by his peers as having a unique, riff oriented playing style and an un-matched, hard hitting stage persona as demonstrated by the sheer number of guitars and other various items he breaks nightly on stage. In addition, he is regarded as one of the hardest workers in the business in his never-ending pursuit of new career heights.
