"Ricardo Zárate, Peruvian bass player from the city of Lima, began playing bass at the age of 15. He has participated with local bands such as Zen, Libido, Difonia, Mauser, Vali Cáceres, Glenny Power Trio, Luna Hiena, Tenores (Sonidos del Mundo) among others. He has shared stage with peruvian artists such as Juan Diego Florez, Jorge Pardo, Andrés Dulude, etc.
Among his own projects are the power metal band ""Icarus"" and the progressive rock band ""Inner Confusion"". He has also been part of support bands opening the shows of Satriani, Bon Jovi, Mr. Big, Bret Michaels, Skid Row, Charlie Garcia, etc. Also as a musician for foreign artists such as Ted Poley (Danger Danger), Miljenko Matijevic (Steelheart), Phil Lewis (L.A. Guns), Mark Slaughter (Slaughter) Mario Ian (Rata Blanca). He has been working for 20 years in electric bass classes in schools such as the Yamaha School of Music and currently in the School of Music of the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC).
