BIG SHANE THORNTON is just a good ol' Arkansas boy, who knew what he wanted in life so he packed up & moved to Nashville, TN. He loves to be in front of a microphone with his bass guitar in hand, letting his heart pour out. (Shane also plays Keyboards & Guitar) Shane has always had an interest in playing music and at age 12 he used to sneak in to set in with his step-dads band. Shane was hooked! Not long after, he started writing songs. Shane has been performing and writing songs now for about 16 years giving everything he has in every song! Shane is the proud recipient of the 2019 JOSIE MUSIC AWARDS MALE SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR for Personal Body of Work.

Shane Released his first album "Runnin' From The Best Of Me" on Oblivion Records in late 2011. Getting great reviews & several songs making it to radio, including the title track. Shane is currently gearing up & finishing writing songs for his New Album.

Big Shane Thornton is currently Touring & Recording with his own self-titled band. He also Tours & Writes for Donnie Lee Strickland as Band Leader/Bassist/Vocals/Acoustic Guitar/Keyboards. Big Shane also subs from time to time on Bass/BGV’s for Jeff Bates TJ Ashley. Also Big Shane is a member of the TC’s Open Jam Band on the Sunday’s when he is home in Arkansas.
