Joey Shann was raised in Claremore, Oklahoma. He began playing piano at age 7 and then learned the banjo at 14. Joey was named the 2018 Oklahoma State Banjo Champion. He traveled the country for two years playing banjo with The Baker Family from 2016 through 2018 and has been touring in the Dave Adkins Band since December 2018
