Javier Sepulveda is a composer and accomplished guitarist, specializing in 6,7,14, and 16-string guitar. He is also the director and lead guitarist of Pulse of Nature, a multi-sensory experience that merges live performances of epic, original compositions with fantastical images of nature and the universe. When Pulse of Nature is performed in planetariums and Imax theaters, the best in cutting-edge imagery and visualization is combined with innovative live performances by musicians from all over the world. Javier has collaborated in various musical projects with exceptional musicians, including jazz master Fareed Haque, Leo Margarit of Pain of Salvation, Collin Edwin of Porcupine, Felix Martin, and the Symphonic Orchestra of Chile, among others. With a band or as a solo act, Javier has played national and international shows including Prog Festival in Lima in Peru, Rio Art Rock Festival in Brazil, and Baja Prog in Mexico. He has opened for various bands including Sons of Apollo, Tony MacAlpine, The Gathering, Asia, Stickmen, Crimson Project, and Nektar. In addition, he composes music for full-length theater productions, 3D animations, and advertising campaigns. Javier teaches electric guitar both in private classes and in clinics.
