Brandon Michael, also known by his stage name Boo Boo Money, is a bass guitarist and songwriter from Northern California. He is best known as the bassist for technical metal band Allegaeon (Metal Blade Records). Additionally, he is the guitarist and primary songwriter in California post-metal band Peasant Hands and Funky Tim & the Merlots, a group of musicians he's worked with for over fifteen years.
Brandon began playing bass at age twelve. Originally studying to be a drummer like his father, he eventually gravitated toward the bass guitar, performing regularly throughout grade school and high school. After years of working as a bassist, he soon turned to songwriting, forming various bands in his twenties.
Brandon’s influences include Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorious, Steve Harris, Victor Wooten, and Nathan East
