Anthony Pace

Bluegrass, Alt-Roots
1650 Phosphor Bronze Roundwound

Tony Pace developed a love and an ear for music early home, there was always a guitar around and everything from Motown to honky-tonk graced the airwaves. Eventually drawn to the sound and spirit of Acoustic Roots music, the resophonic guitar (dobro) began to speak to him with it's lonesome, haunting sound.  He soon bought his first dobro and has never looked back. In 2008, he co-founded the bluegrass group Wayward Roots, who quickly built momentum in the region and eventually took 2nd place at the prestigious Telluride Bluegrass Festival band competition in 2011. More recently, Tony has joined forces with the atmospheric Alt-Roots group Cold Tone Harvest as a vocalist/multi-instrumentalist (dobro / lap steel / electric guitar). Together, they play regularly at listening rooms, breweries and festivals in-and-around Michigan.
