Aj Kish, was born in Royal Oak, MI.  As early as the age of 4 he was already begging his father Jim to teach him guitar so that he could eventually join him on stage.  By the age of 10 that Dream became a reality. In 1995 he was finally old enough to play in bars but, already had a couple hundred wedding performances under his belt. His father took him under his wing once again and they formed a duo known as Jim & Jim which became very popular around the metro Detroit area. Since then a few hundred bars, event venues and reception halls later, Aj has performed on stage with the greats of Dick Wagner of Alice Cooper/ Lou Reed fame, Brian Vander Ark of The Verve Pipe and John Schreffler Jr. from The Shooter Jennings Band/ Gin Wigmore Band. Aj is a full time local musician in the greater Detroit area as an acoustic soloist, and as an independent acoustic or electric guitar slinger for hire. He's been a Ghs/Rocktron endorser since 2002.
