A true vintage sound! Designed with the feedback and encouragement of GHS Artist, Scott Napier, the Pure Nickel Mandolin strings bring the warm, rich sound of pure nickel to the mandolin! Custom gauges provide a balanced feel and sound, across the entire fretboard. Perfect for that "overly bright" mandolin that needs some warmth or that vintage mandolin that would benefit from some added richness.

They seem more dull than warm to me, but maybe I need to match the pick to the strings. I'll probably give that a try.
Edit: My favorite Blue Chip pick didn't do so well with these strings but I found a Wegen TF-140 in my stash that sounds great.
