Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, Dave was surrounded by an eclectic blend of musical genres. Banjo was the first stringed instrument to be tackled. After that his varied musical interests led to the purchase of and immersion into Guitar, Dobro and then Pedal Steel Guitar. Nashville was the place to be, so moving there elevated his career to the next level. Touring with national recording acts started immediately with The Sons of The Desert, and a bevy of others including McBride and the Ride, Lonestar, 3 years with Big & Rich, Jewel and since the beginning of 2010, Luke Bryan.

Recording projects in major studios as well as his home studio keep Dave busy all year long.
