    Wayne Wilkinson has performed and toured across the country and internationally for over four decades. Throughout his career, Wayne has been fortunate to share the stage with iconic jazz musicians and world class performers. As the guitarist for the premier Air Force Jazz Ensembles “The Airmen of Note” in Washington, D.C. and the "Falconaires" in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Wayne performed for Presidents and other dignitaries at venues including the White House, Carnegie Hall as well as major jazz and music festivals.

    Wayne is a Benedetto Jazz Guitar Artist and is on faculty at the nationally accredited Colorado Springs Conservatory where he helped establish the Jazz program; is an adjunct professor for Jazz Guitar at Colorado State University - Pueblo; and conducts master classes and clinics.

    Wayne performs regularly and plays original compositions, traditional and straight ahead jazz classics; and innovative bebop jazz from the great American songbook.

    Wayne has played with Bill Watrous, Bucky Pizzarelli, Johnny Smith, Michael Brecker, Randy Brecker, Houston Person, Nelson Rangell, Harry Allen, Lenore Raphael, Ed Polcer, Allan Viche, Bria Skonberg, Henry Mancini, Joe Williams, Ernie Watts, James Moody and Stanley Turrentine. Other people he’s played with in his career are President Clinton, Jack Jones, Dianne Schuur, Bob Hope, Roger Williams, Louis Belson and The Four Freshman. He is a repeat guest performer with Colorado Springs Jazz Party and Earl Klugh's Weekend of Jazz. Wayne is currently touring with jazz great, pianist, Lenore Raphael with recent performances at the Tel Aviv Jazz Festival and London Jazz Festival.

    Wayne plays a Benedetto Bambino Deluxe and a Ben-Bino Jazz Guitar and uses Henriksen Jazz amps.
