- Electric Guitar
- GBL, GBCL Guitar Boomers
Born and raised in Southern California, Ace started touring professionally at the age 19, cutting his teeth early on in the punk rock scene. Recording and touring with bands like Cheap Sex, Madcap, Murphy’s Law and veteran skateboarder Duane Peters’ bands The Gunfight and The U.S. Bombs. Later, he would branch out into other genres, working with groups like Americana/outlaw country act Charlie & The Valentine Killers for their debut S/T album, and pop artist Shanti Wintergate on her Stranger Days LP.
In 2010, Ace joined legendary Sunset Strip rock veterans Faster Pussycat as their lead guitarist, as well as doing session work with Grammy winning producer Theron “Neff-U” Feemster for the posthumous Michael Jackson album Michael.
Since then, he has been steadily on tour with Faster Pussycat, doing an average of 80 shows a year. From 2013-2014, he found time to play for San Diego radio-rock band Unwritten Law, as well as becoming the music director/guitarist for Massachusetts renowned music/horror convention Rock & Shock. The group features a revolving lineup each fall, boasting members of The Misfits, Lamb of God, Joan Jett & more.
Ace is currently in the studio with Faster Pussycat founder Taime Downe, working on new material for a forthcoming release. The band is preparing for another world tour and to appear again on the Monsters of Rock cruise again for their 9th consecutive appearance next year. Always trying to stay busy, he has been a featured regular at two of Hollywood’s monthly high-profile events; Ultimate Jam Night & SoundCheck live, and has been seen performing with members of such bands as Nine Inch Nails, Heart, Guns N’ Roses, and many others. From networking at these events and friendships formed with bands of the same era, it become quite common to see Ace joining many of his peers bands onstage for additional guitar during live shows. Often jumping up with L.A. Guns, Vixen, Adler (featuring Steven Adler of Guns N’ Roses) and many others.
In the Fall of 2016, he appeared in 3 promotional videos for the band Beasto Blanco (featuring members of the Alice Cooper band), as the bands bass player. At the same time, he began working and recording with a studio project called Neon Coven. The electronic-rock band released their debut EP, Risen in mid 2017, which charted at # 37 on Billboards Indie Charts. More recently he has also been performing guitar duties and acting as music director for Finnish goth-rocker Jyrki 69, of the platinum selling band The 69 Eyes. The band aims to put out a record in 2019, via their label Cleopatra.
