SETS - BURNISHED NICKEL ROCKERS™

GHS Burnished Nickel Rockers™ carry on the proud tradition started in 1964 with Nickel Rockers™. Roundwound pure nickel cover wire is wound over a hex core, and then lightly polished for a slick feel. The result is the pure nickel warmth and clarity, with the ability to easily glide over the fretboard.

Maybe a 9.5 set?  I love the feel of 10’s playing chords but I do a lot of bends.
I just fall a little flat trying to get a full step bend with vibrato. Don’t have quite the hand strength. 9’s over all are a bit too light. 9.5 is a good inbetween.

Would y'all ever do a 7string set ???

Jonathan Moody

Hey Chris, it's certainly possible. We haven't gotten a lot of requests for a 7st set in the Burnished Nickels, but we could always look into it.

Will you ever make a 11-54 set? I love the burnished nickel strings but I always feel the need to have that beefy low end as these strings are amazing

Jonathan Moody

Hi Charlie, it's something we can look into, sure. There have been a couple others like yourself that would like a heavier option for the low string. However, I can't guarantee any timeline when this may happen.

Love these strings! Any possibility of a .009-.046 set offered in the future? Thanks!

Jonathan Moody

Hey Frank, it's always a possibility, but we haven't received very many requests for a BNR-CL set. The singles are readily available, so if you wanted you could order it that way.

Smooth sound and feel.  Pure nickel helps prolong string freshness, prevent corrosion.  Strings sound newer for longer.
Am loving these on my 2020 Epiphone Les Paul. (torn between these and boomers)
