Boston Metal-core act Ice Nine Kills take their name from the classic piece of American literature, “Cat’s Cradle,” by the renowned satire darling Kurt Vonnegut. It’s the band’s passionate drive, work ethic, and unique sound that have helped cultivate a thriving and fiercely loyal fan base within the landscape of todays ever changing music scene.

January 21st of 2014 saw the release of the highly anticipated full length, “The Predator Becomes the Prey,” via Outerloop Records.  Following the release, INK hit the road full speed ahead by touring with marquee acts such as; Attila, I See Stars, Crown the Empire, and many more.  The band also took part in the 2014 Vans Warped Tour on the Monster stage, introducing their unique mix of melody and chaos to thousands of music lovers.  Ice Nine Kills continued riding high in 2015 by supporting Motionless in White on the “Beyond the Barricade Tour.”  Next up INK would embark on “The IX Lives Tour, which would go on to become their most successful headlining tour to date.

Ice Nine Kills has yet again reached another career milestone, by signing with industry heavy weights, Fearless Records; as well as completing their most ambitious album to date. “Every Trick in the Book,” slated for a December 4th release, is a powerful concept album that focuses on the many elements of the human condition that have been examined through classic literature.  The new album, with its mixture of dark theatrical composition and the influence of the written word, showcases a band that has hit their creative stride.  A band that is ready to push full speed ahead into the upper echelon of the Metal-core community and beyond.
