Gerhard Wolleter is a Chilean guitar player, session musician, composer and producer with more than 25 years of musical career, in which he has worked as a session player for a great number of national and foreign artists, jamming live and also in the studio, with a great quantity of trips and presentations in South and North America, Europe and Polynesia. He began his studies of classical guitar at the age of ten years old at the Modern School of music in Santiago of Chile, then combine it with electric guitar at the age of 13, then at the age of 19 he began study sound technology and also in parallel composition and arrangements in popular music in the same Modern School of Music.

He has worked as a session player for international artists like Franco de Vita, Marta Sanchez, Pinpinella and local artists Andres de Leon, Alberto Plaza, among others; he was an integral guitarist of the Orchestra of the International Festival of Viña of the Mar for 3 years.

At the beginning of the year 2000 he joins Dracma, Chilean band of Rap Metal achieving great success with presentations in Chile and Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and Peru) and by year 2001 obtaining the MTV USA Music Award chosen by the public as better Latin-American band with their Video "HDP"
In parallel he is nominated Endorser of Ibanez Guitars and Laney/International Amps, performing clinics throughout the country. In the year 2004 works as guitarist and producer of the folklore group Varúa at Easter Island and tours Spain with presentations in Madrid, Barcelona and Mallorca. Also work with another folklore group; Matato'a of Easter Island., with Tours to Tahiti and Hawaii, during 2006.

In parallel form his own band of Groove Metal: "BOA" which it has published two records: "BOA" and " BOA 2 ", managing the band to a position of heading the metal movement in Chile, sharing stage with bands like Sepultura, Lamb of God, Megadeth, Dark angel and At the Gates.

Nowadays he is finishing the production and mix of the third CD of BOA, to be released this 2017, teaching electric guitar in Audiomusica Academy in Santiago, working as music producer for metal and rock bands in Chile and with the little free time he has studying to obtain a guitar interpreter's degree in Spanish Flamenco.
