Daniel Mason (Hank Williams III)
Biography: At age 16, Daniel made the critical decision to embrace Bluegrass music and master the banjo. He spent countless hours of his time trying to play like his hero, Earl Scruggs, later realizing nobody can sound just like Earl. Being influenced by the music of others such as Don Reno, Charlie Cushman, J.D. Crowe, Jim Mills, Don Rich, Luther Perkins, Hank Williams SR., Hank III and Johnny Cash, he finally developed his own style of banjo playing. In 2006 he began playing the bluegrass circuit and competing in banjo competitions, making a name for himself.
