Todd Taylor Releases New Album INDESCRIBABLE

Todd Taylor, also known as the Banjoman, has released his new CD, INDESCRIBABLE, under his re-cord label Pirate Records. Taylor performs five original songs and six well-known classics personally arranged for the banjo. Recognized for his long-time contribution to the world of bluegrass music, Todd gives listeners something new in his latest offering -- a variety of songs from rock-n-roll to classical.
A DVD performance of Taylor’s arrangement of “Bach Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major” has also been released. Taylor is accompanied on the single by Thornton Cline (cello) and Mike Moody (bass).
John McEuen, legendary banjo player and country star, shared his thoughts on Taylor’s perform-ance:
“Todd shows us just how a banjo can venture into other than the expected musical territory and create a bridge between two styles of music that brings them together. He is a serious player and quite dedicated to expanding the music listened to on a banjo, and does it with confidence and conviction...in a way that makes you want to hear more. Keep it going and growing Todd Taylor, you are opening new doors quite nicely.”
Taylor has received numerous Grammy nominations throughout his career and this CD is generat-ing talk of nominations for this year’s Grammy awards.
